Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr is fit and is most likely to be featured in Brazil’s starting line-up against Morocco. During a recent press conference ahead of their upcoming Group C game, the 25-year-old heaped praise on the Italian tactician.
Vinicius revealed that under Carlo Ancelotti, he can play with freedom and trust because the two have shared a bond since their time at Real Madrid. The Brazilian attacker is also keen on helping his side win the sixth trophy and script history.
“I feel great freedom and sincere trust from Ancelotti: he is sure I can do for the national team what I do for Real Madrid.”
“I believe him, and I want to try to write the history of the country and the national team; we must do everything to win. I am sure we will do well in this World Cup: we are solid in defence and ready to counter-attack, just as Ancelotti asks of us.”
Playing for Los Blancos in the 2025/26 season, Vinicius scored 22 goals and provided 14 assists in a total of 53 appearances across all competitions. However, his performance was criticised because the Santiago Bernabéu outfit failed to win any major trophies.
