Martin Baturina was born on February 16, 2003, in Zurich. Mate Baturina is his father, who was also a former Croatia national football team player.

Martin Baturina made use of his footballing roots and started his youth career with Hajduk Split. He then moved to RNK Split in 2015 during his youth days.

Baturina went on to join Dinamo Zagreb’s academy due to his good potential on the pitch. He remains one of the standout talents produced by the Croatian club. His senior club debut came in 2021 and with his talent as a creative force, he impressed with his performances on the field. He helped the club win the domestic titles and his efforts were also not ignored in the European competitions.

In 2025, he signed for the Serie A club Como 1907 and continues to play an important role for them. During the 2025-26 season, he came to notice as one of the league’s promising playmakers.

Martin Baturina made his debut for the Croatia national football team in 2023 and has now made his first appearance on the grandest stage of them all.
