Who will referee Brazil vs Haiti FIFA World Cup 2026 match?

Haiti have faced Brazil three times but never in the FIFA World Cup.

Brazil will face Haiti in their second match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The two sides are drawn in Group C of the summer competition alongside Scotland and Morocco.

Scotland are currently in the top spot as they defeated Haiti 1-0 in the opening game. Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti’s men played a 1-1 draw against last edition’s semi-finalists, Morocco. Seleção will have to secure a victory over Haiti to put a step forward in their route to the knockouts.

Neymar will miss the game as the former Barcelona attacker is currently recovering from a calf issue. The 34-year-old also has not travelled with the delegation, as he’s prioritising recovery. Brazil’s 1-1 draw with Morocco made visible the issues with the side’s functioning.

Selecao lacked creativity in midfield, while their defence was left wide open on counterattacks. Apart from the two major problems, they also had issues with finishing. Carlo Ancelotti could give a young player a chance in attack against Haiti, as he also has other issues to address immediately.

On the other hand, Haiti gave tough competition to Scotland, which is quite a lower-ranked compared to Brazil. Currently ranked 85th in the world by FIFA, the two have faced each other three times before, twice in friendlies and once in the Copa America. The Seleção has scored 17 goals to Haiti’s one.
