Roberto Martinez’s men will face World Cup debutants Uzbekistan at the Houston Stadium in Texas on Tuesday, June 23.

His goal came as an equaliser, but later Luis Diaz and Jaminton Campaz scored to make it 3-1. On the other hand, DR Congo also netted their first-ever World Cup goal against Portugal. While Joao Neves broke the deadlock in the 6th minute, DRC’s Yoane Wissa equalised the game just before the first half concluded (45+5).
Thus, with both teams entering the game after different results in their opening matches, the Matchday 2 fixture becomes crucial.
