Wonderkid Endrick was named to Brazil’s roster for the Copa America, Al Hilal star Neymar was not named in the squad, but why?
It was anticipated that Neymar, who is rehabilitating from an ACL tear and plays for the Saudi club Al-Hilal, would not be allowed to compete in the competition held in the United States in June and July.
In March, Brazil played two matches since Dorival Junior came over as coach: a 2-2 tie at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium against Spain and a 1-0 victory over England at Wembley Stadium. The 17-year-old Endrick, who will shortly be joining Real Madrid, scored goals for his country in both games.
Both midfielder Casemiro and forward Richarlison, who started for Brazil at the previous World Cup in Qatar, were left off the roster.
Prior to the competition, Brazil will play friendlies against Mexico and the United States. Brazil will compete in Group D of the Copa America against Paraguay, Colombia, and Costa Rica.

When will Neymar return back from injury?
After celebrating Al Hilal‘s Saudi Pro League (SPL) championship with his teammates on Saturday, Neymar stated he was “impatient” to get back into the game.
With three games remaining in the domestic time of year, Jorge Jesus’ team secured their 19th league trophy, breaking the previous record, with a 4-1 victory over Al Hazem. This put them 12 points above Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr. The Brazilian star, while praising his teammates, provided more “fun” for the coming year.
