"We will try everything to keep Jadon Sancho" says Borussia Dortmund's Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl

Sancho has the intention to continue at Dortmund
In order to perhaps get a permanent contract for Jadon Sancho in 2025, Borussia Dortmund plans to re-sign him for a further season on loan.
Sancho has experienced a comeback since going on loan to Borussia Dortmund in January, displaying his potential and taking his rightful place among Europe’s best players. Unquestionably, he has had an impact, helping Dortmund get to the Champions League final and rekindling conversations about his long-term future.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Kehl reveals that the club wants to retain Jadon Sancho next season and hopefully, they will reach an agreement to sign the forward.
Borussia Dortmund director Kehl confirms: “We will try everything to keep Jadon Sancho here”.
“But Manchester United also sees how well he is playing at the moment. Maybe they also want to sell him for profit or bring him back… we will see”, told welt
Sancho is motivated to stay at the Westfalenstadion for as long as possible, according to sources from Sky Germany via the Daily Star. This desire is reportedly spurred by both his renewed form and the lack of clarity around his role at Old Trafford.
Last year, he had a turbulent falling out with Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, which caused him to leave the first team and go on loan to Dortmund.

Even if Sancho’s deal with United expires in 2026, the timing might be on his side. Due to the possibility of him reaching the end of his contract, United might have to sell him this summer in order to keep him for a lower price. This situation creates the possibility of a bidding war, with Dortmund keen to sign Sancho long-term.
Jadon Sancho at Borussia Dortmund appears to be his old self once more. He has scored two goals and provided an assist in the Bundesliga since returning to Germany on loan, and he also scored a crucial goal for them in the first leg of the Champions League semifinal.
He has scored 53 goals and given 66 assists in 154 games for Dortmund, which is an exceptionally amazing record of goals and assists.
Additionally, there is a significant decline in his stats from his time at Manchester United. In 82 games for the Red Devils since joining them for £72 million, Sancho has just 12 goals and six assists.
