The 19-year-old has had a breakout season with RB Leipzig, where he scored 13 goals and provided 9 assists in 36 games. The youngster can play on either wing and has also scored 3 goals in his 10 appearances for Ivory Coast.
Diomande’s pace is his biggest asset and the player would have to play a big part to help his side qualify to the knockout stage.
Joel Ordonez (Ecuador)

Piero Hincapie (Ecuador)
The 24-year-old is coming off a Premier League winning season with Arsenal and will be high on confidence as he played 39 games on loan for the Gunners in all competitions. Piero Hincapie has also won league with Bayer Levekusen in 2023-24 season and this championship winning mentality shows in his game.
Having already made 52 appearances for Ecuador, expect Hincapie to marshall the Ecuador defence against Ivory Coast in their World Cup opener.
