Zlatan Ibrahimovic has traversed the world and left his mark in numerous major leagues. Apart from his self-conceited yet slightly sarcastic comments, he is known for scoring the most acrobatic goals. He does not have a Champions League or a Ballon d’Or to show for his expansive career. However, his 552 goals and 225 assists for club and country can make a case for him.
The experienced striker recently equaled Silvio Piola’s feat of scoring the most goals (31) in Serie A history after turning 38 years. His 10th minute goal against Genoa put him up there with Piola. On this commendable achievement, let us take a look at the Swede’s 10 best goals.
10. Inter Milan vs Palermo (2008)
In a 2007/08 Serie A tie against Palermo, a Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace saw Inter Milan retain their top spot on the table. Well outside the 18-yard box, the strike swerved away from the goalie, and hit the upright to go inside the net.
9. Sweden vs Italy (2004)
In a Euro 2004 group stage game between Italy and Sweden which ended 1-1, it was Zlatan Ibrahimovic who stole the show with his ridiculous flick.
8. Inter Milan vs Bologna (2008)
In a match against Bologna in the Serie A 2007/08, Adriano ran down the left wing and put in a cross. Zlatan Ibrahimovic calmly turned around and fashionably back-heeled the ball into the back of the net.
7. Sweden vs France (2012)
In Sweden's final Euro 2012 group game, a lofted ball from the right wing came towards Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was positioned at the edge of the box. He adjusted himself and volleyed it inside in the most Zlatan way possible.
6. Inter Milan vs Fiorentina (2009)
In the Serie A 2008/09 match against Fiorentina, Inter won a free-kick about 35-yards out in the dying minutes of the game. Zlatan Ibrahimovic ran up to the ball and smashed it at a speed of 109 kmph in the back of the net.
5. LA Galaxy vs LAFC (2018)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced himself with a brilliant debut goal in the MLS for LA Galaxy against LUFC . He waited for the ball to bounce at desirable level and he let one fly. The shot went over the goalkeeper’s head and into the net.
4. Ajax vs AZ Alkmaar (2004)
In the 2004/04 Eredivisie match against AZ Alkmaar, a teammate slotted in the cross from a free-kick. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was getting dragged behind by the defender, but quite nonchalantly, he lifted his leg up and guided the ball home.
3. LA Galaxy vs New England Revolution (2019)
In a 2019 MLS game against New England Revolution, The ball was flicked towards Zlatan Ibrahimovic by a teammate. He received it on his chest, took a touch to take the ball away from the defender, and scored with a bicycle kick.

In a friendly against England in 2012, when Joe Hart had to come out of the box to clear the ball, Zlatan Ibrahimovic turned around and unleashed a 30-yard long bicycle kick which found the back of the nets. This was the recipient of the FIFA Puskas Award in 2013.
