Formula 1: What is the next F1 race after Bahrain GP 2024?

After the exciting Bahrain Grand Prix, Formula 1 is heading to Jeddah for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and fans are buzzing with anticipation! The race in Bahrain showed us how good Max Verstappen and Red Bull are, but now everyone is curious to see if other teams can challenge them on the fast tracks of Jeddah.
Max Verstappen won convincingly at the Bahrain GP, with Sergio Perez close behind, securing a top-two finish for the team. Despite other teams like Ferrari, Mercedes, and McLaren making changes to their cars, none could match Red Bull’s speed.
But amid Red Bull’s dominance, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz made things exciting by coming in third. He was just a few seconds behind Perez, showing that anything can happen in a race. Sainz’s teammate Charles Leclerc finished right after him in fourth place.
Preparing for the Saudi Arabian GP 2024
Following pre-season testing and the opening event in Bahrain, teams now have another chance to assess their performance on the challenging Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Known for its high-speed layout and unforgiving walls, the track promises to test the drivers’ skills to the limit, with bravery being a key factor in separating the frontrunners from the rest of the pack.
Last year’s winner, Sergio Perez, will be aiming for another victory, but he’ll face tough competition from drivers like Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz from Ferrari. Mercedes, led by Lewis Hamilton, is also eager to bounce back from a tough start in Bahrain.
However, with Red Bull showing its dominance in Bahrain, anything can happen in the long F1 season.
The Unique Schedule of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
In 2024, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is one of just three races scheduled for a Saturday.
Prior to the weekend’s main event, teams will engage in rigorous practice sessions on Thursday, followed by exciting qualifying rounds on Friday. The climax of the race unfolds on Saturday. This unique schedule, influenced by Ramadan, adds an extra layer of excitement and intrigue, promising a memorable event for all.
