Max Verstappen will seek his fifth title at the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025.

The 2025 Formula 1 season is heading toward its final chapter at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The final race is set to unfold this weekend (December 7), where a three-way battle for the title will take place at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Defending champion Max Verstappen will be chasing his fifth title, but to achieve that, he must not only win the race but also prevent his rival Lando Norris from finishing on the podium.

Norris of McLaren leads the standings with 408 points and needs only a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place finish to secure the championship and complete McLaren’s dream season, as the team has already claimed the Constructors’ Championship.

McLaren’s hopes are also supported by Oscar Piastri, who remains in title contention. He currently sits third in the standings with 492 points, just four points behind Verstappen (496).

The season saw complete domination by the Papaya squad, but it also delivered one of the most shocking and brilliant comebacks in the history of the sport. Red Bull ace Max Verstappen, who was once trailing Oscar Piastri by 104 points, has now surged ahead of him and recorded the same number of wins (7) as the two McLaren drivers.

As always, Abu Dhabi is expected to deliver hot and dry conditions, and the 58-lap race is set to feature a thrilling finale. Check the timings and schedule below.
