Antonelli is now F1’s youngest-ever pole-sitter!

After a season-opener in Australia that saw pre-race shocks, drama at the start and overtakes galore, F1 is now in Shanghai for Round 2 – and the first F1 Sprint of the year.

Kimi Antonelli led a Mercedes 1-2 in Chinese Grand Prix qualifying in Shanghai, becoming F1’s youngest-ever pole-sitter.

After the end of an exciting first two days in Shanghai, which included Free practice 1, sprint qualifying, sprint race and now main qualifying. We now look forward to Sunday, March 15, when the main race is scheduled to take place.
