EA Sports FC: Everything we know so far
There is a lot of excitement ahead for the new football game after the end of Electronic Arts’ agreement with FIFA.
FIFA 23 was the last video game in the long-running franchise of FIFA football games by Electronic Arts. Post the ending of their agreement with FIFA due to contractual differences, the video game publisher is going to release their own line of football games. The company recently unveiled a glimpse of their upcoming game, EA Sports FC.
“This is where the story of EA SPORTS FC begins. We’re building on 30 years of leadership and history creating experiences that bring the global football community together, and continuing to take it into a fan-first future,” said Nick Wlodyka of EA Sports FC.

Rival to EA Sports FC
Electronic Arts chose to split from FIFA after the latter reportedly was asking for $1 billion to use the FIFA name in its games every four years. Gianni Infantino, the FIFA president, spoke about building their own game after the governing body could not agree to a license fee with EA. He said, “I can assure you that the only authentic, real game that has the FIFA name will be the best one available for gamers and football fans. The FIFA name is the only global, original title. FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26, and so on--the constant is the FIFA name and it will remain forever and remain THE BEST."
