Which leagues will be in EA Sports FC?
Several top professional football leagues are set to feature in the game thanks to an agreement over licensing.
EA Sports FC is the new football game that will be the successor to FIFA 23 by Electronic Arts. Since the split between EA and FIFA due to disagreement over licensing fees, the game developer is going ahead with releasing its own line of football games. Therefore, it brings an end to the long-running franchise of FIFA games by EA that became extremely popular over multiple decades.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino announced that the governing body will work with other game publishers to release its football game. It will be an authentic football game bearing the “FIFA” name. Having said that, it will be difficult to compete with EA which has experience in the industry and possesses licensing with official leagues and clubs that attract users.
While an official date for the release of EA Sports FC is under wraps, more information regarding it will reveal in July 2023, according to EA. However, there is a confirmation available on which leagues will feature on EA Sports FC.
The leagues confirmed to feature in EA Sports FC
Popular European leagues like the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga will be a part of the game. They will be joined by several top leagues around the world and continental tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and more.
