Major comeback?
Ubisoft has finally revealed the much anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows story trailer and fans are really loving it. It appears that Ubisoft might be delivering one of the greatest comebacks in the gaming industry.
Fans were a little disappointed with another delay in the game launch, however, now it looks like it is going to be worth it. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Naoe and Yasuke
Assassin’s Creed Shadows, set during the Azuchi-Momoyama era of 16th-century Japan, encourages players to explore the lives of two heroes, Naoe and Yasuke, whose fates cannot be separated.
This game takes place against the backdrop of Japan’s late Sengoku period, a time of turmoil and change in which these characters would play critical roles in steering the country toward a new age.
In this trailer, we saw how their story is going to progress as they both face difficulties in this new era of Japan.
Social media users, including @ACFanatic, have praised the plot trailer for #ACS, saying it kept them on the edge of their seats. “Naoe and Yasuke’s journey appears epic!” @SamuraiGamer commented, “Loving the setting, but Denuvo?” Really, Ubisoft? Despite varied feelings about Denuvo, expectations for the game’s narrative depth and historical setting in Japan remain high.
Many fans had their doubt when the game was delayed once again and were questioning whether Ubisoft could even release the game or not. Ubisoft has taken these things seriously and really crafted a great story trailer for the game. My hopes for Assassin’s Creed Shadows are too high and maybe I won’t be disappointed. The pre-orders for the game have also started and the game will be released on March 20, 2025.
