In a recent developer update, Bungie Studio Head Poria Torkan and Head of Product Josh Deane have confirmed that they are not leaving this beloved franchise behind.
There are more stories to tell and they want to expand the franchise with future titles and stories. Although no new game or project has been announced, they have reassured the fans that these projects are part of the studio’s long-term plans.
Vaulted Destiny 2 content will return
Another big announcement in this developer update video was the return of the previously vaulted content.
The classic campaigns, raids, and destinations that were removed from the game will finally return.
Bungie admitted that bringing back older material is a difficult task, and said that it will take them time to guarantee everything is functioning appropriately on more recent versions of the video game.
