Here’s what Paramount CEO David Ellison has to say about this dream, which has come true:
“Being entrusted by Activision and fans globally to adapt this incredible storytelling world is both an honor and a responsibility we take seriously.”
Drawing on the success of Top Gun: Maverick, Ellison promised a film of “uncompromising excellence” to meet the franchise’s high standards, delivering a cinematic delight for both long-time fans and novices.
Activision President Rob Kostic was also excited about the future of the franchise and called Paramount a perfect partner.
“The movie will celebrate and build on what makes Call of Duty legendary. Our goal is simple: deliver a blockbuster that thrills our community and welcomes new fans.”
