What to expect from Capcom?
Capcom is kicking off 2025 with a bang as they have announced the Capcom Spotlight 2025 event that will be happening on February 4, 2025. The fans and gamers are excited and can’t wait to see what Capcom has in the bags to reveal at the spotlight event.
They have revealed that there will be a Monster Hunter Wilds showcase, new information on Onimusha: The Way of the Sword and more. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Capcom Spotlight 2025 details
- Date & Time: February 4th at 2 PM PST / 5 PM EST.
- Duration: The main Capcom Spotlight will last at least 20 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Monster Hunter Wilds showcase.
The Capcom Spotlight will feature new announcements for:
- Capcom Fighting Collection 2
- Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword
These confirmed titles and reveals have hyped gamers and fans to look forward to this event. This spotlight event might also reveal some new details about the space adventure Pragmata, which currently doesn’t have any release date yet.

Monster Hunter Wilds showcase
Immediately after the Spotlight event, the Monster Hunter Wilds showcase will take center stage. Fans will be introduced to a new setting the “Forbidden Lands,” featuring new rideable mounts and a fresh cast of monsters to hunt or capture. You can also expect a new trailer and insights on the upcoming open beta test 2 next month. The game is scheduled to launch on February 28, 2025 and is considered to be the most anticipated game of the year.
Onimusha: The Way of the Sword
This event will also reveal the information on Onimusha: The Way of the Sword which is set to release in 2026. This game was revealed at The Game Awards and now fans can’t wait to look forward to any new reveal or trailer at the showcase event.
