The lead writer of the game, Jennifer Svedberg-Yen, has now hinted at potential DLC in a recent Instagram DM response spotted by N4G on April 30, 2025.

In response to a fan’s inquiry, Svedberg-Yen stated that, while no specific plans are in the works, the studio is willing to expand the game’s spooky Belle Époque-inspired setting.
“We’re still just trying to process everything that’s happening,” she wrote, reflecting on the overwhelming launch success. “We’ve always said if there is strong desire from the players, we would love to do something more, and based on the responses so far, I’d say chances are good.”
There is no doubt that Sandfall Interactive is paying close attention to fans’ feedback and response about the game.
The game demand has suddenly spiked up with physical copies going out of stock in many regions, even on Amazon.
The player count on Steam has also increased, as it recently touched more than 120,000 concurrent players online.
As per official sources, Clair Obscur Expedition has also sold more than 1 million copies in three days.
What could the DLC include?
This still remains speculative, but fans are speculating that we might get more expanded lore in the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 DLC.
Potential new regions in the continent, along with the origins of the Paintress and Renoir. There is also a chance that we might see the expedition zero journey as well.
Additional Pictos, clothes, or even a new party member may boost replayability, especially with the game’s modding community already thriving on PC.
