Official Clair Obscur Expedition 33 release date

The official release date for Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is April 24, 2025 and pre-orders have already started for this game. This was officially announced at the Xbox Developer Direct showcase along with some new gameplay and what fans can expect in the game. This game will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass from day one, PC and PS5.

What is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 about?

This game is set in a world where the Paintress, a formidable antagonist, threatens to erase the last remnants of humanity by painting the numbers and people above those numbers die. Not going to lie, this is a very simple yet interesting plot for the game.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 asks players to join Gustave, Maelle, and their comrades on a critical mission. The narrative follows the route of previous missions, revealing their fates and building new alliances among the members of Expedition 33 to resist this cycle of doom.

Sandfall Interactive, a studio driven by indie spirit, expressed and shared their thoughts about their first game, “We are a small team with an Indie spirit, and we’re creating something we believe is truly special,” they wrote on social media last fall, underlining their desire to reach as many people as possible while not being a AAA studio.

This game will be a turn-based action RPG game with real-time action scenarios. I would say, consider this as a Baldur’s Gate 3 but with better graphics, smoother gameplay and great combat mechanics.

The world-building and creativity look absolutely insane and fans can how much developers truly care for their first game.
