According to the game trophy, Wuchang Fallen Feathers has four endings in the game. Three of the game’s can be achieved during your first playthrough, while the fourth one is achieved in New Game+.

Every ending is closely tied to NPC side quests and your decisions. As you progress through the story, some key NPCs offer optional quests that can direct your endings of the game.

There is no true ending and every ending is pretty much canon to the story. Here are the four endings:

• Dream’s Sweet Deceit
• Successor of Bo
• Bound by Fate’s Threads
• Jarful of Medicine

The fourth, Jarful of Medicine, is the most difficult, requiring completion of all major NPC missions as well as victory against optional bosses, which adds to the complexity.

Do you need New Game Plus (NG+)?

Yes, to achieve the 4th ending in the game, you need to play New Game+, which offers more challenging enemies and bosses during the game.

You can get the first three endings without NG+ by making new save files (up to 10) and following each quest line.
