Dune Awakening server downtime & timings for July 16

The developers at Funcom revealed yesterday that the Dune Awakening server will go offline for maintenance on July 16, 2025.

This MMO survival game from the Dune universe has kept the player base pretty stable and now the players need to take a little break from Arrakis. Let’s find out more details in this article.

Dune Awakening server maintenance & timings

The Dune Awakening server maintenance will start on July 16, 2025, at 09:00 CEST / 07:00 UTC/ 1:30 PM IST.

The downtime is expected to last for 2 hours and the patch notes will be available on the official website once the downtime has completed.

Building contest

To keep things interesting, Funcom is organizing a building contest in the game. Players can build their best Atreides, Harkonnen, or CHOAM creations and earn prizes and rewards.

This contest will run from July 14, 2025, to July 28, 2025, 11:59 pm CEST/6 pm EST. The winners will be announced on August 8, 2025.

There will be 3 first-place rewards. The winners will get LEGO Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter and Atreides battle rifle skin.

There will be 6 runner-ups who will get Dune: Awakening Collector’s box from Madrinas and Atreides battle rifle skin. More detailed information and how to join the contest are available to read on the official website of Dune Awakening.

What to expect from new patch?

Even after the last patch, there are still many things and bugs that are very annoying for the players. Players have already asked for many things in the comment section of the server downtime post.

Some of them want more spice in the deep desert. Flying around without doing anything sometimes might feel boring.

There are also issues related to memory. Sometimes you will get 100fps and then it will go to jittery 30fps regardless of the video settings. Then you have to restart the game to go back to 100fps.

Just like this, there are many problems and fans hope that Funcom will resolve these issues in the current Dune Awakening server maintenance.
