EA FC 27 The Grounds deep dive reveals open world, mentors, new game modes & more

EA Sports FC has now officially revealed the EA FC 27 The Grounds deep dive, which is going to be the biggest addition in the game.
For the first time, players will be able to explore the open-world social hub in this franchise. This will connect with Clubs and introduce a new progression system, football-inspired districts, new game modes, live events and more.
Everything you need to know about EA FC 27 The Grounds
The Clubhouse is the central hub of The Grounds where all Club activities are available to players.
The first thing players do is to make a custom footballer and pick a favourite position such as attacker, midfielder, or defender.
From there, they will be able to select from several different Archetypes, all with different playstyles, including Finisher, Magician and Target.
Progressions are the same as in previous Club matches, with every match and activity counting towards your character’s progression.
It is new to FC 27 are special buffs from the real-life footballers, known as AMPs. They are available in 4 rarity levels and players can use up to 3 AMPs at a time to give them a boost when playing.
Competitive gameplay also expands with the addition of House Rules like No Rules, Headers & Volleys, Survival, Mystery Ball, King of the Hill, and many more, in addition to the 11v11 Live Events.
Three football-inspired districts in EA FC 27 The Grounds
The deep dive has also revealed the three football-inspired districts that will be available in this mode:
- Parkside District – Inspired by England
- Montclair District – Inspired by France
- Zeiza District – Inspired by Argentina
At the centre of this social world is The Terrace. This is the social hub where players will spawn, interact, visit shops and access the Clubhouse.
Each district will also host the mentor. Players can meet Paulo Dybala, Chloe Kelly, Kylian Mbappe and Alex Hunter.
They will offer objectives and rewards and you can interact with them in conversation as well.

Competitive Matches and Casual Mini-Games
EA FC 27 The Grounds will also provide a variety of gameplay experiences for the players.
The competitive options in this mode will include Clubs League Playoffs, Stadium 11v11 Events, Rush Stadium matches, and small-sided games ranging from 1v1 to 4v4.
There are also many casual activities like Kickabouts, dribbling challenges, football-themed mini-games, and Drop Kick Targets. Here you can test your accuracy by hitting the objects.
EA Sports has also confirmed that there will be live events and activities that will arrive after the launch. They will be updated with the regular content updates.
Seasonal Updates, Customization, and Live Campaigns
There is no doubt that customization will be important in EA FC 27 The Grounds. You can equip clothing and accessories from major brands like Adidas, Nike, Puma, and New Balance. There are also many emotes and celebrations that will be available for your player.
The Grounds will be supported throughout the season as will Ultimate Team. The experiences will be updated with new Chapters, gameplay, objectives and world events throughout the year.
However, EA has already revealed a number of themed campaigns which each feature different in-game decorations, cosmetics and limited-time events in the open world, such as European Nights, Screaming Grounds, Thunderstruck, Frozen Grounds and Team of the Year.
