EA Sports has now officially announced the cover athlete for their upcoming game, NHL 27, which does not yet have a confirmed release date.

With the reveal of the official cover athlete, EA Sports has also announced that it will be revealing the first trailer for NHL 27 on July 16, 2026, at 11 AM ET.
The trailer will go live on their official YouTube channel. During this trailer, you can expect to see enhancements to gameplay, presentation, Franchise Mode, and more.
With the reveal of the cover athlete, you can also expect EA Sports to reveal EA FC 27 pretty soon as well.
