The network test finally happened for the Elden Ring Nightreign and the players were able to experience the different classes in this game for the first time.

In this article, we will discuss about Nightfarers, their abilities, playstyles and some upcoming classes that we will be getting in this game.

All Confirmed Nightfarer classes

Elden Ring Nightreign features eight separate Nightfarer classes, each with its own set of weapons, skills, passive abilities, and ultimate arts. Here’s a breakdown of the four classes presented thus far.

Wylder

• Playstyle: Versatile Warrior
• Weapon: Greatsword and shield.
• Claw Shot – Use a grappling hook to adjust positioning during fight.
• Passive Ability: Sixth Sense – Provides a one-time save from a fatal strike.
• Ultimate Art: Onslaught Stake – Causes a massive explosion that harms both health and stance.

Recluse

• Playstyle: Sorceress.
• Weapon: Staff skill: Magic Cocktail combines elemental essences to create potent spells.
• Passive Ability: Elemental Defense – Increases resistance to magical attacks.
• Ultimate Art: Soulblood Song – Marks an enemy to heal and restore mana to friends.

Guardian

• Playstyle: Tank.
• Weapons: Halberd, Greatshield
• Skill: Whirlwind – Creates a tornado to disrupt foes.
• Steel Guard is a passive ability that increases defense when pushed back.
• Ultimate Art: Wings of Salvation – A tremendous leap followed by a ground-shattering strike.

Duchess

• Playstyle: Stealthy and Agile Assassin
• Weapon: Dagger
• Skill: Restage – Repeats the last damage delivered for added impact.
• Passive Ability: Magnificent Pose – Improves evasion and movement.
• Ultimate Art: Finale – Grants team temporary invisibility.

Upcoming Nightfarer Classes in Elden Ring Nightreign

The above four classes were confirmed and players have already tested them in the Elden Ring Nightreign network test. Here are the remaining four classes:

Iron Eye

• Playstyle: Archer/sniper
• Director Junya Ishizaki describes a special feature: the ability to summon a rock pillar for sniping.

Samurai

• Playstyle: Samurai
• Weapon: Katana with glowing effects on parries, suggesting a dynamic combat style.

Heavy Hitter

• Playstyle: Juggernaut
• Weapons: A hybrid axe-hammer, offering both power and area damage.

Spirit Ashes User

• Playstyle: Summoner
• Specialty: Fights with summoned spirit ashes, adding a unique layer to combat strategy.

Each Nightfarer class brings something unique to Elden Ring Nightreign and ensures players that each of them have the ability to clear the dark and mysterious world of Limveld.
