Elden Ring Nightreign official release date revealed! Price, editions & more

Souls gameplay is so back!

The new gameplay network test for Elden Ring Nightreign is out now. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have also officially announced that the game will be released on May 30, 2025.

This exciting Souls game will be available to play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC, with pre-orders now open. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Price and editions

All pre-orders have the exclusive “It’s Raining!” gesture bonus.

• Standard Edition ($39.99) includes the base game.
• Digital Deluxe Edition ($54.99) includes a digital art book and soundtrack.
• Seeker’s Edition (Europe Exclusive): A physical Deluxe Edition with a SteelBook for the PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
• Collector’s Edition ($199.99): Includes a SteelBook, hardback art book, eight Nightfarer cards, and a 25-cm figurine of the Wylder Nightfarer. This edition is available for the PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Two-Player Option on the Horizon?

While the Elden Ring Nightreign co-op mode requires three players at launch, there’s good news for those who prefer to play with only one friend: Game Director Junya Ishizaki hinted at potential future improvements in an interview with Ungeek:

• Current State: At launch, players who want to play with only one friend can queue together, but they will be paired with a third random player to complete the trio requirement.
• Future Considerations: Ishizaki confirmed that they are actively considering adding a true two-player experience in a post-launch update. “Regarding having just two players, not three players or solo, it is something we are considering, but it is currently not in the game at the moment,” he explained.

This is a stand-alone adventure in the ELDEN RING universe that reimagines the game’s main design to provide players with a unique gaming experience. FromSoftware and Souls fans are really excited for the Elden Ring Nightreign and can’t wait to team up with their friends in order to defeat some toughest bosses that the game has to offer.
