On April 21, 2025, the official Japanese X account for Silent Hill published a vital notice, warning players to remain watchful. This article contains all of the information you need to know.

Beware of fake Beta invites and websites

This was first reported by The Gamer and Insider Gaming. Some scammers are trying to impersonate accounts posing as official sources for Silent Hill F.

They are trying to lure the fans with ake closed beta test, invitations, events, and websites designed to steal personal information.

Konami and the official Silent Hill account on X recently posted and warned the fans about the scammers as well.

They reminded fans to only follow their official Konami and Silent Hill accounts and not believe any other account or website for any time of news.

How scammers are targeting fans?

The scammers are making Fraudulent accounts and trying to lure the fans to their malicious websites.

These frauds frequently ask users to provide personal information, which puts their data at risk of theft or malware infection.

To prevent falling victim, Konami recommends that players proceed with caution and only use confirmed channels.

This issue isn’t limited to Silent Hill F—CD Projekt Red recently cautioned Cyberpunk 2077 fans about similar bogus beta scams, revealing a rising trend targeting gamers.

The new Silent Hill F is all set in 1960s rural Japan. The time has come for a new haunting chapter with contributions from horror manga artist Kera and Resident Evil writer Ryukishi07. For now, no release date has been confirmed by Konami yet.
