Rather, it takes place in a 1960s rural Japanese town, providing a fresh setting for psychological horror. This version, which Konami and NeoBards Entertainment co-developed, attempts to combine innovation with heritage.

Renowned author Ryukishi07 wrote the novel, and Japanese artist Kera created the creature and character designs, suggesting a visually arresting encounter with deep cultural roots. Although the platforms, release date, and gameplay details are still unknown, Thursday’s announcement should clarify these issues.
