FBL 2.0 is India’s first-ever esports and upskilling platform
FAU-G Bharat League (FBL 2.0), the official esports tournament for FAU-G: Domination, has returned with its second edition, offering a ₹50,00,000 prize pool.
As India’s first-ever esports and upskilling platform for FAU-G: Domination, FBL 2.0 gives players across the country an opportunity to compete in a structured, skill-based environment, while also gaining exposure to career and personal development opportunities.
Know more about FAU-G Bharat League 2.0
FBL 2.0, announced by nCore Games in association with talent mobility platform Leverage and NODWIN Gaming, is the first tournament platform to be launched following the Parliament’s passing of India’s Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 (PROGA), and is fully compliant.
Players nationwide can participate in FBL 2.0 once the game update goes live. All competitions are free to enter, with physical skill serving as the primary differentiator. The tournament features multiple tiers, including Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titan, with the top three winners in each tier receiving prizes. Participants in the Titan League will compete to determine India’s FBL 2.0 Champion.
While most competitive games focus solely on monetary rewards, FBL 2.0 combines prizes with upskilling opportunities in response to community feedback from the first FAU-G Bharat League. These include an all-expenses-paid trip to London to visit top universities offering game development programs, such as Teesside University, University of East London, University of Hertfordshire, University for the Creative Arts, Coventry University, and University of Essex, along with behind-the-scenes access to leading global game studios.
Partnering up with NODWIN Gaming
Winners will also receive personalized career counselling from global experts, guidance on study abroad opportunities and international job placements with a focus on game development careers, English language training for international study, and health and fitness support, including wearables, plans, and coaching provided by GOQii. Additional rewards include in-game perks, mentorship opportunities, branded merchandise, and wellness initiatives in collaboration with IceSpice and GOQii, bridging gaming achievements with real-world skill development.
Vishal Gondal, Founder and Chairman, nCore Games said, “Esports in India has long been seen as the preserve of elite and professional players. With the FAU-G Bharat League, we witnessed a powerful wave of grassroots participation, where thousands of young players finally got the chance to compete at the highest level. FBL 2.0 is not just a tournament, it’s India’s gateway to nurturing dreams, empowering our youth, and creating the next generation of global game developers.”
Alongside this, nCore Games is partnering with NODWIN Gaming, India’s leader in new-age youth entertainment, gaming, and esports, to create a comprehensive FAU-G: Domination roadmap. This will include grassroots competitions for state-level selection, a national tournament, and potential international participation in the future. FBL 2.0 represents the first step in this direction.
“As esports in India goes from legitimacy to significance, the path shifts to building the Champions of India both at a player level and at a game level. In FAU-G: Domination we have truly an Indian game for India that has the potential to win us medals! We at NODWIN Gaming are extremely proud to be part of such an epic moment,” commented Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming.
Conclusion
The first edition of FBL was launched on July 18 with a prize pool of Rs. 3,00,000. FBL 2.0 significantly increases the prize pool and introduces a range of upskilling opportunities, courtesy of Leverage, aimed at helping make India a world-class hub for game development.
Through FBL 2.0 and future esports tournaments, nCore Games will continue to collaborate with India’s esports stakeholders to build the nation’s competitive gaming ecosystem, legitimize made-in-India esports titles such as FAU-G: Domination, and strengthen grassroots initiatives among its growing player base.
