When Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC version will be released?

It has been finally confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC will be released on January 23, 2025. You will be able to purchase and pre-order via Steam and Epic Game Store.

This news was made at The Game Awards 2024 when fans were treated to an exciting reveal trailer that culminated with the release date. This move follows Sony’s trend of timed exclusivity, as seen with other titles such as God of War and Horizon, which eventually make their way to PC platforms.

What’s new for the PC version?

There has been some enhancements made for the PC users that you will find in the game.

• DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling): This technology tries to improve gaming performance by increasing frame rates and scaling images to provide a smoother, more detailed experience.
• Enhanced Textures and Modeling: Environments like as Mt. Corel and Nibelheim will appear more bright and detailed, providing gamers with a visual treat.
• Improved Lighting: Better lighting makes the game’s world appear more realistic and immersive, which improves the overall atmosphere.
• VRR (Variable Refresh Rate): This function helps to provide a smooth gameplay experience by decreasing screen tearing, lag, and keeping a steady frame rate.

There is no doubt that this game is going to run far better on PC than PS5 and PS5 Pro. However, to do that you must have the necessary system requirements.
