“What’s up, brother?”

Two new emotes will be available in the item shop on Fortnite very soon. The popular content creator, Kylie “Sketch” Cox will have his emote in the game.

Sketch, known for his engaging Madden and IRL material, recently expressed his love for OG, which led to this unique collaboration. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Release date for Sketch emote

On Saturday, January 11, at 7 p.m. ET, players can expect to see Sketch’s characteristic words appear in Fortnite. The first emote incorporates Sketch’s famous statement, “What’s up, brother?” which went viral in 2024. Sketch’s appearance in a Fortnite Reload ad with fellow streamer Kai Cenat, when he humorously presented the question, highlighted this term.

The second emote depicts Sketch’s signature gesture of leaning forward with an arm flap. Although usually paired with the phrase “Special teams, special plays, special players,” this emoticon employs the “What’s up, brother?” line with a different accent, providing variation to the collection.

Price?

The fans can expect these two emotes to cost around 400 VBucks in the game starting from January 11, 2025. This emotes are also exclusive to the icon series, so the price seems to be fair.

Now Sketch is the part of the game, fans can expect more content from him and about him in Fortnite shortly as well.

Who is Sketch?

Cox, who goes by the streaming handle Sketch, gained notoriety in 2023 after sharing his Madden NFL 24 games. His amusing demeanor, original words, and distinctive body language immediately drew in the audience.

Professional athletes, such as Kyle Tucker of the Houston Astros and Bo Naylor of the Cleveland Guardians, have adopted Sketch’s catchphrases, such as “Special teams, special plays, special players,” and “What’s up, brother?” with a raised index finger, according to Dot Esports, a well-known gaming publication.
