Pre-Load, download size & review embargo date for Ghost of Yotei

Wondering when you can pre load Ghost of Yotei on your PS5? Starting from September 25, 2025, you can pre load the game on your console.

The review embargo for this title is going to be lifted on September 25 at 9 PM ET (6:30 AM IST on September 26).

@PlaystationSize on X has confirmed the download size for the game, which is 85.119 GB. There is no early access for this game; however, the game demo will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2025 for attendees.

Ghost of Yotei is the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, developed by Sucker Punch Studios. The game is set in the Ezo region, with the female protagonist Atsu, who returns after 16 years to avenge her family’s murder.

This time, the game is going to be more visually beautiful with an amazing music score, vibrant landscapes, key NPCs, and activities like onsen baths, Sumi-e painting, and wilderness camping. There is also a lo-fi, for which I am pretty excited about.

Instead of different stances, we have different weapons to use this time. To influence her adventure, arm yourself with melee alternatives (Katana, Dual Katana, Odachi, Yari, Kusarigama) and ranged weapons (Bow and Arrow, Tanegashima Matchlock, Quickfire Tools such as Kunai, and Smoke Bombs). Atsu will also have a wolf pet, which can fight with her.

Overall, the game is looking pretty amazing and fans can’t wait to experience Atsu’s revenge journey in the Edo region.
