Sony has now officially confirmed that God of War Laufey will start on September 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time. Players can pre-order this game digitally or a physical retail edition. The game is scheduled to launch on February 16, 2026, exclusively on PS5.
Along with the pre-order details, Santa Monica Studio also revealed the bonuses & rewards for the edition, a new weapon showcase, some combat gameplay and more.

Pre-orders were not the only thing that Santa Monica and Sony announced. The studio also showcased a brand-new weapon called the Serpent Bow.
This is an enchanted bow with a shifting form. This is very suitable for close-range combat as well as long-range combat.
