Story choices & relationship system in GTA 6
Players will have to make both major and minor decisions throughout the story and even small choices can affect future events and can encourage multiple playthroughs.
Relationship between the two protagonists: Jason and Lucia is also very dynamic. Players can decide whether they want to pursue a romantic relationship or simply remain partners in crime.
They say that spending time together while exploring Leonida, doing some shopping, exercising, or visiting salons or even robberies helps build their bond. If you are ignoring your partner or spending too much time away from them, it may prevent you from strengthening the relationship and even affect some missions.
GTA 6 will have a more immersive open world
In the new GTA 6 Extended Look, players can clearly feel the world is more alive. In the game, Jason and Lucia can follow their own daily routines, which include waking up, exercising, drinking coffee, and relaxing at home.
More things include:
- Own multiple vehicles with usable trunks
- Store weapons, outfits, and equipment inside cars
- Visit gyms to increase strength and muscularity
- Gain weight by overeating
- Customize hairstyles and facial hair
- Use taxis through the “Ryde Me” app
- Browse social media apps similar to Instagram
- Enjoy activities like kayaking, scuba diving, mini-golf, pool, skydiving, and visiting the zoo
Smarter police & improved combat
In the GTA 6 Extended Look, players also got to see the new, overhauled wanted system. The classic six-star wanted level is back. The crimes must first be witnessed by the civilians or detected through alarms before the police respond.
The law enforcements can also remember what the players look like. So, you can change hairstyles to remove facial recognition, while changing clothes helps avoid identification.
By wearing a mask, you can also prevent police from identifying players through CCTV cameras. Combat seems to be more tactical this time in GTA VI. Shoots are said to be able to be fired at the arms/legs of enemies, incapacitating them without killing them.
Money plays a bigger role
Just like the previous titles, money will be a major part of the progress system. There may be certain missions that require players to earn enough money before advancing:
You can also make money through:
- Car theft and resale
- Business robberies
- Bank heists
- Vehicle boosting
