In a recent interview with The New York Times, Rob Nelson shared his own playthrough of the game that lasted roughly 80 hours. He has also explained that this was not rushed.
It includes completing the optional objectives with narrative consequences. Rockstar wants players to enjoy Leonida at their own speed, instead of just running through the various missions, Nelson said.
He explained a typical day in the game, where a player could wake up and catch a cup of coffee, get dressed, exercise, interact with NPCs and visit various locations, earn money by robbing people and randomly encountering things along the way before they head into the game’s main story.
Side content can push the playtime beyond 100 hours
The reported GTA 6 main story time, with some optional objectives and optional content, was 80 hours. However, the players who want to explore every corner of the map and complete more side objectives, missions, side activities and more; it can easily cross the 100 hour mark.
Previously revealed will be the many activities in GTA 6, such as shopping, gym workouts, scuba diving, kayaking, mini-golf, exploring the wild, robberies, random world events, and building a relationship between Jason and Lucia.
