Rockstar Games has officially revealed the GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix and YouTube and once again confirmed that the game will launch on November 19, 2026.
The company also invited a few content creators to Rockstar North for the game preview and these creators have revealed some new details that were not showcased in the Extended Look.

GTA 6 criminal profile system
According to content creator TGG, the game reportedly will feature four major criminal main states:
- Professional
- Aggressive
- Violent
- Psycho
The profiles each reflect a different way of committing criminal acts. With careful planning of the crime, players who do not resort to unnecessary violence and finish missions efficiently could keep a Professional profile.
Players who may routinely cause confusion and use excessive violence can progress into Violent or Psycho states.

Criminal profile can change permanently
If players commit enough extreme actions, their criminal profile icon may break and eventually become permanently locked for that playthrough.
Your choices may have long-lasting consequences. One character may be a controlled criminal, but other might have a more dangerous personality.
Both Jason and Lucia will have separate criminal profiles.

Optional relationship system in GTA 6
There is also a relationship system between Jason and Lucia. First of all, their romantic relationship is not forced and players can make their own choice.
You can choose to keep them as a couple or just keep them partners in crime. It is also reported that players can create their own dates and activities together:
- Visiting the zoo
- Going kayaking
- Walking along the beach
But do remember that ignoring the romance system will not break the partnership between Jason and Lucia.
More roleplaying freedom
It seems Rockstar is making GTA 6 about player choice and how they approach crime and relationships.
If the player is just interested in one player: Jason or Lucia, then they are not going to cause the other player to lose out on the game, nor will the game continually penalize them for not doing something they aren’t interested in.
What is the Criminal Profile system in GTA 6?
The Criminal Profile system is a new mechanic that tracks the type of criminal a player becomes. It includes states such as Professional, Aggressive, Violent, and Psycho.
Is GTA 6’s Criminal Profile similar to Red Dead Redemption 2’s Honor system?
No. Unlike RDR2’s Honor meter, GTA 6’s Criminal Profile focuses on criminal behavior and playstyle rather than measuring whether players are good or bad.
Is romance between Jason and Lucia required in GTA 6?
No. The relationship system is reportedly optional, allowing players to develop their romance, keep them as partners, or ignore the romantic side completely.
