GTA 6 new details reveal RideMe App, interactive stores, fitness app, social media & more

Ahead of the GTA 6 Extended Look, Rockstar invited a few content creators to Rockstar North to preview the game and reveal details.
One of the invited creators, TGG, has now suggested that there are many things that were not showcased in the Extended Look. The game has a much deeper open-world experience, interactive smartphones, smarter NPCs and more. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Catch Every Update, Anytime, Anywhere
Interactive smartphone & social media in GTA 6
According to TGG, both Lucia and Jason will carry their own smartphone that are filled with useful apps. You can access messages, banking, fitness tracking, transportation and social media.
The best part is that social media is not just cosmetic. Videos and posts can reportedly lead players to hidden characters, activities, and real locations across Leonida. This will encourage players to explore more.
Vehicle ownership is now more realistic
Simply stealing a car won’t make it yours. You will need to register the stolen vehicle before they become your permanent car in the game.
A new car app for the Waink vehicle gives out details such as the security level of the vehicle, the tools needed to steal a car, its resale value, and the cost of registering the car.

Smarter travel & exploration in GTA 6
It seems like transportation is also getting a major upgrade this time. You can now use public buses as a fast travel option. You can either watch the complete ride or skip directly to your destination.
There is also a new ride-hailing app called RideME. This allows Jason and Lucia to request transportation anywhere on the map.
Quick waypoints can also be placed without opening the full map. You can customize the HUD with a traditional minimap, compass, or a cleaner interface.
More immersive world interaction in GTA 6
There will be more environmental interactions. Drive-thrus are now fully functional with purchased meals that offer temporary stat boosts.
You can also physically grab the product from the shelves in the convenience store before purchasing it.
Players can also visit the zoo and even Jason and Lucia go on a date to strengthen their relationship.
NPC interactions have also been touted as being much more dynamic. Characters may be greeted or antagonized, and the character Lucia can defend Jason in unanticipated situations. Rockstar also reportedly added more NPC body shapes and heights, making Vice City feel more realistic than ever before.
Other features include Photo Mode, Streamer Mode for filtering out copyrighted music, safe houses and salons with customised hairstyles, and a fitness app to remind characters when it’s time to exercise.
