The game is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026

With the reveal of the GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix and YouTube, the hype for the game has increased among fans & gamers.

Rockstar Games also invited a few lucky content creators to Rockstar North, who were able to play the game & see some more features of the game that were not showcased in the Extended Look.

One of the creators, TGG, has shared some new exciting details about the game. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Fuel System, garages, realistic driving, and major vehicle overhaul

One of the biggest changes in GTA 6, according to TGG, is that players can purchase garages throughout Leonida, but not safe houses.

Also, buying multiple houses wouldn’t fit the game’s story, as Lucia and Jason are constantly on the run.

The new handling claims to be heavier and more realistic than in GTA 4, but easier to play than GTA 5, with much higher top speeds and distinct differences between the types of vehicles.

Each car will have a unique feel given the many factors that determine the performance, including drivetrain, suspension, tires, and steering.

This time, we are also getting a fully functional fuel system. The vehicles will be required to refuel at the gas station, while electric vehicles must charge. According to TGG, refueling is fast and it takes around 10 seconds.

This features are reported by TGG and at full release, Rockstar might make changes or some might not get included. So, keep that in mind as this is not officially confirmed for the full launch!

Vehicle theft, customization, tracker, nitrous & more

Vehicle theft will be advanced in GTA 6. Luxury cars will have an advanced security system and trackers.

It is expected to require special tools like key cloners before you can steal them permanently for yourself.

You might also need to drive at high speed on some high-end vehicles, as driving slowly might trigger the tracker and alert the police about your position.

The leaked information also indicates that vehicles can be scanned by players prior to stealing them using the Waink app. According to the app, it includes vital information like tracker level, resale value, security requirements and the official rate of registering the vehicle as a personal car.

Now, let’s talk about customization in GTA 6. Different modification shops across Leonida will specialize in specific upgrades. Players might need to travel to different locations to unlock unique builds.

According to TGG, Pay ‘n’ Spray is also making a return. This is for quick repairs and resprays that can help to reduce police attention.

Other reported features are Nitrous, crash cameras (in Burnout style), increased traffic density, more noticeable off-road handling differences, limited loot storage contingent on vehicle size, and more interactive carjackings where passengers can fight back.

Does GTA 6 have a fuel system?

Yes, reported information suggests gas-powered vehicles require fuel, while electric vehicles need charging. Refueling is said to take only around 10 seconds.

What is the Waink app in GTA 6?

The Waink app reportedly allows players to scan vehicles and view information such as security level, required theft tools, tracker status, resale value, and registration cost before stealing them.

Is Pay ‘n’ Spray returning in GTA 6?

Yes. According to the leak, Pay ‘n’ Spray returns for vehicle repairs and resprays, which can also help reduce police attention by changing a vehicle’s description.
