The game is all set to launch on November 19, 2026

Rockstar Games has already confirmed that they want to deliver a more immersive open-world experience with crazy visuals in GTA 6. Fans saw that in the latest Extended Look that premiered on Netflix.

However, there were many things that were not showcased. Recently, content creators and media outlets have been sharing gameplay preview details and we might have some crazy updates.

It appears that this time, we might see some upgrades in combat and gore. Expect realistic and graphic violence that you haven’t seen in any other GTA game. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Catch Every Update, Anytime, Anywhere

GTA 6’s gore system takes inspiration from Red Dead Redemption 2

According to YouTuber ElRubius, who visited Rockstar North for the game preview, this time we will experience a more advanced gore system.

Enemies can suffer realistic injuries, including dismemberment during combat. NPCs may lose limbs after taking heavy damage. Close-range fire can also result in more graphic injuries. This is pretty similar to RDR 2.

More realistic combat & environmental destruction

Apart from the gore, there will be more environmental destruction. Even in the Extended Look, it was showcased in the first fight at the building. This will make the firefights even more dynamic than before.

Along with better physics, better NPC interactions and more reactive animation, battles will likely be a lot more intense than they were in GTA 5.

Rockstar has already announced several changes to the gameplay, such as more realistic NPC routines, interactions and the new control system. These new reports indicate that combat realism is getting a similar treatment.
