Lucy debuts in Guilty Gear Strive

Lucy, one of the skilled netrunners from anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners, is all set to arrive in Guilty Gear Strive on August 21, 2025.

Her release has been officially confirmed with an official trailer and gameplay revealed at EVO 2025. Fans can see her hacking powers, gunslinging flair, and dynamic combat moves.

According to IGN, she is the final DLC inclusion for Season 4, capping off a year of upgrades that have included characters such as Queen Dizzy. This collaboration combines Cyberpunk 2077’s cybernetic edge with Guilty Gear’s fast-paced gameplay.

What can fans expect?

The official new trailer showcases Lucy’s hacking skills. She can pause time to deploy the quickhacks like Contagion, Energy Siphon, Algorithm Malfunction, Resistance Glitch, Pacify, and Optics Inhibition.

Just like the game, the hacks will require RAM units. Algorithm Malfunction leads the list with 13, while Contagion and Optics Inhibition require only three. It’s unclear how to recharge RAM, but aficionados of Cyberpunk 2077 will recognize the idea.

Fans are also getting many other things in this update. New rank match mode and balance tweaks will be introduced. You can also see some enhancements in the competitive scene.

Lucy’s addition is surely going to make it more interesting and fun, based on strategies and new content for the players.
