The confirmation for the Hogwarts Legacy 2 sequel has directly come from the Warner Bros. Games according to Variety. This game sequel is very important for them as it was the best selling game in 2023.

President of Interactive Entertainment, David Haddad, said story aspects will be coordinated with the approaching HBO series.

“He notes that the success of Hogwarts Legacy helped stoke confidence that the time was right to make a major Potter push: ‘The rest of the company was very curious about what we helped to unlock with ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ last year.” That’s what the report says.

Nobody should be surprised that a sequel is in the works. Hogwarts Legacy has sold over 24 million copies and was named “one of the biggest priorities” by Warner Bros. Discovery CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels.

Fans can expect more expanded storylines of the universe with rich connections to that world’s lore which will provide massive fan experience. Also, the plot and story will coordinate with the upcoming Harry Potter series which excites the fans even more.

This proves that there is a very strong chance of OG characters like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger making an appearance or playing a part in the game.
