Microsoft is now finally addressing one of the most common issues and complaints about the Quick Resume feature on Xbox Series X/S. This feature is widely praised among the fans for its convenience, especially in single-player games.

Quick Resume toggle confirmed for Xbox Series X/S

In a recent update shared by Asha Sharma, Microsoft has revealed that the players will be able to enable or disable Quick resume on pre-game basis.

This will give the user greater control, which will allow them to avoid issues that often occur when jumping back to online games.

For many years, players have reported connectivity issues, forced logouts or some glitches when resuming the online title using Quick Resumes.

How does the feature work?

This new feature is pretty easy to use:

• Just navigate to a game title on the dashboard.
• Now, click on the ‘More’ option.
• Enable or Disable the Quick Resume for that specific game.

With this, the players can keep this feature online for the single player titles, while turning it off for the online titles where the problem occurs.

Rolling out in phases

This feature is already being released to the users of the Xbox Insider Beta and will be rolled out to more people in the coming weeks.

Microsoft is also introducing additional UI additions and customization options along with the Quick Resume toggle.
