Time to cope again
One of the best dark goth souls games made by From Software games, “Bloodborne” servers will go on maintenance on December 3, 2024. Fan speculation has started once again regarding the new 60fps patch, a remaster, or even a PC port.
This is because the PlayStation 30th anniversary is also on the same day and Sony might give surprise to the fans. For now, take this all information and rumors with a grain of salt until we get an official announcement.
Server maintenance sparks rumors
The scheduled server maintenance for Bloodborne on December 3, 2024, has piqued fans’ interest, especially as it falls with PlayStation’s 30th anniversary celebration. This maintenance has sparked speculation about upcoming announcements, with fans expecting a 60fps update, remaster, or perhaps a remake.
Since 2015, Bloodborne has been a fan favorite when it comes to Souls games and they have been expecting a remastered version of this game for so long. There are also demands for a PC version as well. If we finally get any update regarding this game, it will be a joyous occasion for the fans.

What could be in store?
- 60fps Patch: A basic update that improves playability on newer systems.
- Remaster/Remake: A more ambitious effort that will port Bloodborne on new hardware with improved graphics and performance.
- Expansion or Sequel: Adding new material or creating a sequel to the existing game.
- Industry Movements: The continuing acquisition talks between Sony and Kadokawa Corporation (FromSoftware’s parent business) may indicate bigger ambitions for FromSoftware’s intellectual property, including Bloodborne.
Despite all the speculation, rumors and excitement, fans should have high hopes for this, so you won’t be disappointed. The best bet is the 60 fps update for the game.
PC port version might also have a great chance but a remastered or sequel version is just pure coping for now. However, Sony may surprise all of us but the chances are too low for that.
While the maintenance may be regular, the timing, paired with industry rumors, has once again brought Bloodborne into the spotlight. What are your thoughts on this? Do let us know in the comment section.
