Main protagonist “V” was teased in the email
As you can see from the latest message, Melissa hinted at the upcoming addition, describing it as: “so many breathtaking worlds to explore” and calling it a “v good one, too.”
Also, you can see that the V is noticeably bolded. This is a direct reference to Cyberpunk 2077, where the customizable protagonist is canonically known as V.
Given the game’s large open-world environment in Night City, as well as its “Edition” branding for enhanced releases, the clues seem to fit.
This parody marketing also includes fake e-mails from the other gaming icon. Johnny Cage is seen humoursly requesting to become the streaming service mascot, while Doom Slayer is simply sending ellipsis.
However, there is no doubt that V and Cyberpunk tease is the main highlight of this fake email.
