More Persona games are a delight
The fans of the Persona series are currently hyped as rumors are going around for a Persona 4 remake for the PS5. After Persona 3 Reload set new records as Atlus’ fastest-selling game in 2024, it’s not hard to foresee the beloved fourth title.
This game is also considered one of the best in the series and now even singer Shihoko Hirata has dropped some hints related to the remake. Let’s check out more details in this article.
The Clues keep coming
The Gamer has been following this developing topic, highlighting a rising amount of evidence. Rudiger, an X user, turned detective, discovers that Hirata, whose soulful vocals are a key component of Persona 4’s attractiveness, has returned to the recording studio.
Now, here’s the important part that you must note. This is not just any studio, it is MIT Studio’s Studio 2 in Tokyo, the go-to spot for Persona soundtracks over the last decade.
Hirata also recently revealed that she has been working on an unannounced project and Rudiger was able to connect the dots from this. This is also the studio that was featured in Persona 5 Strikers’ behind-the-scenes recording doc.
If Hirata’s recording session isn’t associated with a SEGA-owned title like Persona or Yakuza / Like a Dragon, it’ll be an uncommon departure from tradition—MIT Studio 2 hasn’t hosted a non-SEGA IP in years.
Hirata has been secretly “liking” fan reactions on social media that mention Persona 4. Coincidence? Maybe, but it’s got fans excited for a remake that may bring the Investigation Team back in breathtaking detail.
