More Miles and Peter duo?
At MultiCon, a charity event in Los Angeles on February 22, 2025, to raise donations for wildfire victims, Spider-Man voice actor Yuri Lowenthal teased Spider-Man 3.
Speaking with The Direct in front of a star-studded audience that included Rob Liefeld, Kevin Smith and Seth Green, Lowenthal who has brought Peter Parker to life since 2018’s smash game reassured fans that our beloved Peter Parker is not going anywhere.
Peter will be part of Spider-Man 3
The ending of Spider-Man 2 has left many fans speculating whether they will see Peter Parker again in the game or not. However, Yuri Lowenthal’s recent reveals have put that speculation to rest.
He said, “There are very few things I can say about this game, but… Peter is not gone. He will be a part of the next game and he won’t be relegated to the couch, I promise.”
This tease from him has confirmed that our beloved OG Spider-Man will be part of the next game. It is expected that Miles Morales might play a bigger role in the next game.

Triple Threat Theory
Marvel Universe first brought the three Spider-Man together on the big screens and it was a super duper hit. Now the rumors and speculations are suggesting that we might see three playable characters in Spider-Man 3.
Spider-Man 2’s seamless swapping technique makes Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and a third hero—possibly Cindy Moon, nicknamed Silk—swappable on the fly. Yuri didn’t say about this and has kept his mouth shut on many details related to the game. However, this is a very good idea to move forward for the next game.
Spider-Man 3 has been teased since 2023 and knowing Insomniac’s track record of dropping surprises, there is a chance that it might happen soon. However, many fans are still wondering about the ongoing Wolverine game. After the leaks, it has been rumored that the game might get canceled. However, Insomniac has neither confirmed nor denied whether this game will drop or not with its release date.
