The fans and gamers are all excited, as the new content for Little Nightmares 3 has finally been revealed. During the Future Games Showcase 2026, Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games officially revealed the DLC, The Backstage.

This upcoming DLC is dropping next week and players will experience a more terrifying world of The Spiral, new mysteries will be introduced and hidden secrets to uncover.

Little Nightmares 3 ‘The Backstage’ DLC is all set to drop on July 12, 2026. This will be part of the Secrets of Spiral Expansion Pass.

This is going to serve as the first of the two planned story expansions for this game. In the new reveal trailer, fans can see the new location, which is known as The Carnevale. Players will explore its dark and twisted underbelly.

This DLC appears to be more creepy, has more environmental storytelling and exploration. Players can expect “hidden secrets, new perspectives, and unexpected horrors.”

This DLC is only the beginning, as there is one more DLC planned in the Expansion Pass, which is expected to launch sometime in October or December 2026.

Although we haven’t seen too much of the gameplay, from the new trailer itself you can get the idea of the bizarre attractions and nightmare-fueled dangers.

The Carnevale seems to be mimicking the series’ style of making familiar environments incredibly surreal. Expect more troubling puzzles, terrifying encounters and more story elements that will make this DLC worth playing.
