The previous fall 2026 release has now been shifted to Q1 2027!
Gamers and fans who have been waiting for a dark souls-like game from CI Games, Lords of the Fallen 2, now have to wait a little longer. The developers have officially announced that the game will now launch in Q1 2027 instead of fall 2026.
This extra development time will allow the developers to refine the gameplay system, improve the overall experience, optimization and deliver a worthy sequel for the fans. Let’s check out more details in this article.
New release window for Lords of the Fallen 2
This announcement was officially shared by CI Games’ CEO on X (Twitter). Marek explained that the studio has paid attention to the extensive feedback from its dedicated Gameplay Feedback Team.
This team is made up of experienced souls-like players, who have highlighted the areas that could be further improved in the game before the launch.
The developers do not want to rush the game, so they have decided to extend the production and focus on further polishing of the game.
Instead of releasing in fall 2026 and competing with other big titles, especially GTA 6, the game will now release sometime in Q1 2027.
