CI Games officially revealed the CGI trailer and announcement for their next project, Lords of the Fallen 2, at Gamescom 2025 opening night live.

They already teased this a few days ago to create some hype for the game at Gamescom. The reveal trailer depicts brutal, soul-like battle in a world “splitting at its core,” with the promise of “one world, two realms, no mercy.”

What’s new in Lords of the Fallen 2?

The new trailer hints at yet another dark fantasy action-RPG, based on the original legacy. For now, the details have not been revealed by developers, except that you will experience some great battles and a Kingdom that is in a fractured situation.

In the trailer, you can see the main protagonist fighting against the monsters and an angel, whose wings have many hands on them. The design for the angel looks pretty damn good.

If you are new to the Lord of the Fallen, this is a souls-like game, featuring over 100 weapons, magic abilities and a unique game modifier system for customized gameplay. There are nine classes in the game along with co-op mode.

Lords of the Fallen 2 is currently scheduled to release in 2026. Fans can expect the gameplay reveal by the end of 2025.

The original Lords of the Fallen title has received a massive 2.0 update, which is pretty similar to the Cyberpunk update, which made the game incredibly good.

They have enhanced the co-op with a crossplay feature, a free friend pass feature and have improved the overall movement and combat system.

New features like a dedicated jump button, weapon audio updates, and an improved tutorial will surely suit the new players.
