More fights against Nazi’s
Great news for Wolfenstein fans is out! In a new documentary by Noclip, MachineGames might have teased Wolfenstein 3 and the future of the franchise.
With the series beginning in 1981 and receiving critical acclaim for its fierce action and captivating tales under MachineGames’ current supervision, it’s been nearly six years since we last met B.J. Blazkowicz.
Major hints about Wolfenstein 3
The latest Noclip documentary tells us more deeply about the Wolfenstein’s history, while also highlighting the reboot trilogy—The New Order and The New Colossus.
At the 41:16 minute mark, the director Jerk Gustafsson shares the clue about Wolfenstein 3:
We’ve always envisioned this as a trilogy. From those early days at id, mapping out The New Order, we planned B.J.’s journey across three games. I hope we’re not done with Wolfenstein yet—we’ve got more to tell.
This remark provides a strong indication that B.J.’s journey might not be over and we might see a new game from MachineGames.

What’s next?
In the last game Wolfenstein: Youngblood (2019), towards the end, we saw B.J.’s daughters. After that, MachineGames were focused on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which was released last year.
Now, they have done with the game along with the new DLC, there is a pretty good chance that they might shift focus towards Wolfenstein 3 based on the tease.
Conclusion
Wolfenstein franchise has some amazing games with some great immersive stories related to Nazi’s. Getting more action and deep storytelling with B.J.’s won’t be a bad idea.
However, it is still not clear or confirmed whether MachineGames will really be working on Wolfenstein 3 or some other IP. For now, only time will tell.
