Madden NFL 27 PC features reveal uncapped FPS, graphics settings & more

The game is all set to launch on August 13, 2026

With the release of Madden NFL 27, EA Sports has recently shared more details about the PC version with a wide range of performance and graphics options.

Madden NFL 27 will support cross-platform multiplayer

EA Sports has now officially confirmed that cross-play will be available across PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

You can play with your friends in these modes:

• Dynasty
• Road to the Madden 27 Playoff
• Ultimate Team
• Play a Friend

Uncapped FPS & Flexible frame rate options

There are multiple frame rate options that PC players can get:

• 30 FPS
• 60 FPS
• 120 FPS
• Uncapped FPS

Separate gameplay & cutscenes performance settings in Madden NFL 27

Players will be able to customize gameplay and cinematic performance in NFL 27. You can also configure:

• Gameplay at 60 FPS
• Cutscenes at 30 FPS

Detailed graphic settings on PC

There are two primary graphic categories:

Global visuals

• You can control overall in-game visuality and there are many available presets such as low, medium, high and ultra.

Cutscene visuals

• You can increase and decrease the quality of Replays, Team entrances, Close-up camera shots and Cinematic presentation.

Advanced graphic settings in Madden NFL 27

There are also many advanced graphic options available for players who want to control and maintain more visuals of the game.

These options include:

• Advanced Hair – Improves player hair quality and physics.
• Sideline Quality – Increases the number and detail of coaches, staff, photographers, and players on the sidelines.
• Higher Texture Quality – Enhances textures on uniforms, helmets, stadiums, fields, and equipment.
• Mesh Quality – Improves the detail of character models and environmental objects.
• Crowd Quality – Controls spectator density and visual fidelity.
• 3D Grass – Adds more realistic turf rendering.
• Shadow Quality – Improves lighting and shadow detail throughout matches.
• Ambient Occlusion Quality – Produces more realistic environmental lighting and depth.
• Bloom – Enhances lighting effects around bright objects.
• High Resolution Circular Depth of Field (DOF) – Creates more cinematic close-up shots during replays and broadcast sequences.
